One Down, One To Go...

Just finished one sock. I'm calling them my "Winter Solstice" socks--some warm, happy socks for the cold, chilly winter. But now that I have one down, I suddenly feel a lack of motivation to knit the second one! It's like finishing a project, and then having to do the exact same thing all over again. How do people do it--motivate themselves to knit the second sock?

  5. hey ramona~ i was so confused for a second...cuz my mom doesn't knit or write with so many exclamation marks! :) i got the pattern from the ravelry website (have you joined?)--it's free, called "universal sock" or something like that.

  6. This is Karina, Tom's wife... noticed you had a blog and checked it out... About motivation to finish the other sock... you could always learn how to knit both at the same time! It's easy AND they end up being the exact same size: no more guessing how many more rounds to make them the same length, etc. If need help, let me know. Love the colors!

  8. If you never get around to finishing the second sock, then you can always use it as a Christmas stocking.
