Supper Club

On Saturday, I prepped all day for this dinner. Although I've cooked countless meals for 10, 12, 20 people...this one was different. This wasn't a single pot, simple salad kind of meal. This was one that required fore-thought, planning, preparation and a whole lot of cooking. A meal where the goal was not just to feed empty stomaches, but to (hopefully) stimulate and satisfy some taste buds too. Some courses turned out better than others, but without further a-do, this is what I did all day Saturday (all pictures compliments Phil Lau):

It was a cool experience putting a meal like this together, and definitely makes me appreciate the hard work that chefs do. As I've said before, although I wouldn't necessarily want the pressure that comes with being a chef, I do oh-so-love feeding people and creating space to enjoy a lesiurely meal.
